Biography
Tim Warfield, Jr. emerged during the 1990s as a tenor saxophonist whose presence quickly registered. On the anthology Tough Young Tenors his solos displayed a swaggering, soulful tone and emphatic style, prompting observers to expect that he would soon step forward in a leadership role to present his abilities more fully.
