Tittsworth

Jesse Tittsworth, a Washington, D.C. native, built a following across the blogosphere as a DJ and producer steeped in Baltimore club traditions. Born Jesse Tittsworth, his early fascination with music took hold in the mid- to late 1980s before deepening into rave culture with a focus on drum'n'bass. The new century brought his emergence as both a DJ and a producer. In 2006 he joined forces with DJ Ayres of the Rub to establish the independent label T&A Records, which issued their own material alongside tracks from associates including Dave Nada and A-Trak. Around the same period his productions spread through MP3 blogs while he posted downloadable mixes on MySpace. After EPs appeared on Vicious Pop Records and Ammo Records, he delivered his first full-length album, Twelve Steps (2008), on Stretch Armstrong’s Plant Music imprint. The record contains twelve original productions featuring vocalists Pitbull, Nina Sky, DJ Assault, Kid Sister, Pase Rock, and the Federation.
