TO1

TO1 emerged in 2019 when the survival series World Klass assembled a ten-piece South Korean act from an international pool of hopefuls. The final roster—Jaeyun, Chihoon, Donggeon, Chan, Jisu, Minsu, J.You, Kyungho, Jerome, and Woonggi—made their first appearance later that year as TOO with the mini-album Reason for Being: Benevolence. Two months afterward they returned with Running TOOgether; both projects reached the upper ranks of the Gaon Music Chart. Management conflicts prompted a 2021 rebranding to TO1, after which the group unveiled the mini-album Re: Born containing the tracks “Son of Beast” and “Surf.” Before the year ended they issued their fourth EP, Re: Alize, whose single “No More X” became a notable success.
