Biography
In 2008, punk-pop practitioners Max Bemis and Coby Linder from Los Angeles-based Say Anything teamed with Chris Conley and David Soloway of New Jersey's Saves the Day to launch Two Tongues as a side project. Elements drawn from both parent bands merged into the quartet's lively mix of indie rock and emo pop. The self-produced debut album, bearing the group's name, was tracked at Electric Ladybug Studios in Southern California and issued by Vagrant Records in February 2009. While the musicians stayed occupied with multiple other projects, Two Tongues revealed plans for a debut tour in the second half of 2016 only to cancel those dates, though the second LP, titled simply Two, still appeared that October.
