TWRK is a New York electronic music duo formed by producers BenZi and eSenTRIK. The pair first connected online through the exchange of song sketches that grew into a full collaboration. Their focus from 2013 forward was simple: get people on the dancefloor. Drawing from N.E.R.D., Skrillex, and New Orleans bounce, TWRK issued their debut single "BaDinga" in 2015. Built around a sample of K7's "Come Baby Come," the track delivered the hard-hitting bounce sound that became their signature. Follow-up releases included "Trifecta" with DJ Sliink and Green Lantern as well as "Do What It Do" with OG Maco, a track positioned as a spiritual successor to Mystikal's "Shake Ya Ass." After signing to Diplo's Mad Decent, the duo dropped their debut EP, We Are TWRK, in 2015—a concise four-track set of booming-bass dancefloor fillers. They also maintained a regular output of party mixes through the Volume Mix Series. In 2016 TWRK released the single "Hands on It," featuring Migos, Sage the Gemini, and Sayyi.
