Biography

Formed in Lund, Sweden, the duo Waltz For Debbie introduced a blend of disco-pop and electronic textures when they first appeared in 1996. Vocalist Annica Lundback and songwriter Martin Permer soon drew comparisons to Saint Etienne and Dubstar upon issuing their debut album, You & I & Brett & Alice, through Stockholm Records in 1998. One year later Labrador Records released the group’s second album, He Loves Anna.
