Weston

The punk outfit Weston, known for its self-deprecating style, came together in 1990 and took its name from the parents of guitarist Dave Weston, who permitted rehearsals in their basement. Their discography includes the initial release A Real Life Story of Teenage Rebellion, the compilation Splitsville featuring singles, Got Beat Up from 1996, and Matinee issued the next year. Maintaining a sound reminiscent of the Pixies, the group put out their fifth full-length effort, The Massed Albert Sounds, during the autumn of 2000.
