Adam Wakefield

Hailing from rural New Hampshire, Adam Scott-Wakefield first picked up the guitar at age four. The singer/songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and touring musician developed his skills with Baltimore’s soul band Old Man Brown and Nashville’s progressive bluegrass outfit the Copperheads before entering the public eye as a contestant on season ten of The Voice. After completing his studies at the New School Jazz and Contemporary Arts Program in New York City, he relocated to Baltimore, co-founded Old Man Brown, and refined his deep, soulful voice. A move to Nashville brought performances with the Copperheads, after which he auditioned for The Voice and joined Blake Shelton’s team. He advanced to the finals and placed second, at which point his self-penned “Lonesome, Broken, and Blue” reached number one on iTunes.
