Biography
Hailing from Texas, Courtney Patton works as a singer and songwriter whose soulful approach to classic country extends as well into Americana and folk. She draws upon a rich lineage of American music, naming Merle Haggard, Joni Mitchell, Don Williams, and Carole King among her key influences. Born in Granbury, she issued her debut album, Triggering the Flood, in 2013, and the follow-up, So This Is Life, appeared in 2015. In 2014 she married frequent touring partner and fellow Texas troubadour Jason Eady. Patton returned to the studio in 2017 to record her third studio long-player, What It's Like to Fly Alone, issued independently in February 2018.
