Anne Nørdsti

Born on June 19, 1977, in Alvdal, Norway, Anne Nørdsti established herself as an award-winning Norwegian danseband singer after beginning her musical journey with the group Kolbus. Her first solo album, Bygdeliv, appeared on Tylden & Co. in 2004. National recognition followed the next year as that debut climbed to the Top 30 on the Norwegian albums charts, while her second release, Bonderomantikk (2005), advanced to the Top 20. Critical honors arrived with her third album, Her Vil Jeg Bo (2006), which earned a 2007 Spellemannprisen in the danseorkester album of the year category. Building on that momentum, she achieved Top Ten placement in 2008 via her fourth effort, Livli' På Låven. Onstage, Nørdsti regularly performs alongside a band that includes Henning Antonsen on guitar, Stein Tore Sønsteli on keyboards, Per Erik Pedersen on bass, and Finn Andresen on drums.
