Biography
Childhood friends David Westerlund and Robin Soderman grew up in Lidingo, the Stockholm suburb, and spent a couple of years DJing before launching the club/dance duo Antiloop in 1994. Their debut EP, N.S.F.M.C., contained the hit single "Beauty & the Beast," which helped the pair ascend the charts in Sweden, Norway, and France. They followed that momentum by releasing their first album, the local-Grammy-winning LP.
Between 1997 and 1998 the tracks "Believe," "Nowhere to Hide," and "In My Mind" carried Antiloop across Europe for live dates, while the project also collected four Swedish Dance Music Awards. Later David Westerlund and Robin Soderman established Rebels Room Records and took over hosting duties for the radio program P3 Dance.
