Biography
Formed from ex-members of Loona, the K-pop outfit ARTMS crafts tender pop songs that glide along with an airy, dance-driven feel. The project name surfaced in 2023, after which the quintet’s first album, DALL, entered the Top Ten on both the Korean Circle albums chart and Billboard’s World Albums chart.
Following their exit from Blockberry Creative amid contract conflicts that had led to the removal of Loona’s CHUU, members Heejin, Haseul, Kim Lip, Jinsoul, and Choerry joined Modhaus to launch ARTMS as a fresh endeavor. The name draws from NASA’s Artemis program, which then intended to send Christina Koch into lunar orbit as the first woman. In December 2023 the five-piece issued “The Carol 3.0,” extending a holiday series previously started by Loona subunits.
ARTMS delivered their first full-length effort, the buoyant DALL—an acronym for Devine All Love and Live—in May 2024. The set climbed to number seven on both the Billboard World Albums chart and the Korean Circle albums chart.
