Austin Brown

Austin Brown first stepped into public view as a pop singer by sharing cover versions of other performers’ tracks across social platforms. He moved into releasing his own songs at sixteen, after spending two years building an audience that reached several hundred thousand followers, and was already widely recognized by the time his debut single appeared in 2018.

Born in Bend, Oregon in 2002, Brown started singing at seven. During his teenage years he uploaded clips of himself on ukulele performing both original interpretations and renditions of material by Flume, Juice WRLD, and additional artists. In 2018 he moved to Los Angeles intending to concentrate on acting, yet the stronger response to his music videos prompted him to shift focus toward writing original material and building a recording career. His first single and accompanying video, “In Betweenin’,” came out in late 2018, followed several months afterward by the second single, “Mean.”
