Emerging from Detroit's unhinged rap collective with Eminem, Esham, and a wide circle of peers, Bizarre merges the off-kilter persona of a deranged Biz Markie with the undead pallor of a Night of the Living Dead performer, steering his output toward warped horror-core and malevolent subject matter. Release of his opening EP, Attack of the Weirdoes, in 1998 created sufficient buzz to earn a cameo on Eminem's highly successful Marshall Mathers LP in 2000. That exposure led Eminem to sign Bizarre directly to his own record label. Bizarre then entered Eminem's group D12, contributing to the albums Devil's Night (2001) and D12 World (2004). He launched his solo career in 2005 with Hannicap Circus. Multiple collaborations with fellow Detroit rapper King Gordy surfaced on Bizarre's 2007 album Blue Cheese 'N' Coney Island.
