Biography
Black Market Militia, a hip-hop outfit centered on social awareness, first took shape after Wu-Tang affiliate and Sunz of Man member Killah Priest crossed paths with Juice Crew veteran Tragedy Khadafi at a gathering tied to The Source magazine. Contact information was swapped, prompting Killah Priest to pull in additional Wu-Tang associates Hell Razah and Timbo King, plus newcomer William Cooper. Drawing on themes that range from revolution and violence to conspiracy, religion, and everyday street realities, the collective issued its self-titled debut through Nature Sounds in 2005.
