Biography
Originating from Glasgow, Scotland, the jazz/soul DJ Blue Boy refined his abilities in both his native city and London before earning a DJ role with the renowned British DJ group the Shamen. Multiple singles and EPs have appeared from him beginning in the early '90s, among them "Ascension" and the four-track EP Scattered Emotions. His most recognized release, "Remember Me," endures as a soulful dance track constructed around the 1969 Marlena Shaw composition "Woman of the Ghetto" and received further exposure via a remix on Mark Farina's original Mushroom Jazz compilation in 1996.
