Boy Kill Boy

The English quartet Boy Kill Boy features Chris Peck on vocals and guitar, Shaz on drums, Pete Carr on keyboards, and Kevin Chase on bass and vocals, generating lively indie rock. Formed in 2004, the group produces a lively, bold pop style comparable to that of Kaiser Chiefs and the Rakes. Incorporating further influences from the Cure, Depeche Mode, Faith No More, and Britpop, the four-piece devoted the ensuing eighteen months to sharpening their material. A limited-edition single called "Suzie" came out on Fierce Panda, after which Mercury Records in the U.K. signed them almost immediately. Ahead of their U.S. introduction in 2006 and right after the official British single "Back Again," the band appeared at South by Southwest in Austin, TX, during March. Their debut album Civilian reached American listeners by the end of July.
