Biography
The Ontario-rooted outfit Boys Night Out fused pop-punk, emo, and high-volume vocals, with Connor Lovat-Fraser handling lead vocals alongside guitarists Jeff Davis and Rob Pasalic, bassist Dave Costa, and drummer Ben Arseneau. Their first outing arrived in 2002 as Broken Bones and Bloody Kisses on Ferret Music, after which the group embarked on an intensive touring cycle that stretched forward with minimal breaks, often alongside Brand New and Coheed & Cambria.
April 2004 brought Make Yourself Sick, a more refined and hook-driven effort whose track list contained such comedic titles as "I Got Punched in the Nose for Sticking My Face in Other People's Business," opening doors to MTV rotation and Warped Tour slots. The conceptual successor Trainwreck surfaced in July 2005. Ferret issued the DVD Dude, You Need to Stop Dancing the following year, while the digital-only EP Fifty Million People Can't Be Wrong surfaced in February 2007.
