Biography
Born Christopher Lee Rios, Jr., rapper Chris Rivers first performed under the name Baby Pun as the son of legendary MC Big Pun. His initial appearance came on Cormega’s 2011 compilation Raw Forever, still billed as Baby Pun, and he retained that alias for a feature on Vinnie Paz’s 2012 album God of the Serengeti. The artist adopted the name Chris Rivers upon releasing his debut mixtape, Wonderland of Misery, in 2013; Vinnie Paz and Styles P both contributed to the project, with Styles P returning for the 2014 sequel Wonderland of Misery 2: The Good King. Several tracks from the original mixtape were repurposed for the official EP The Good King that same year, and Rivers followed with the 2016 EP Medicated Consumption.
