Biography
The track "I'm a Disco Dancer (And a Sweet Romancer)" by Christopher Just scored a major breakthrough, elevating the International Deejay Gigolos label to a distinctive position among techno imprints of the period. Issued first as Gigolo 004, it was followed by the remix EP Gigolo 008, after which further remixes were produced to expand its commercial reach, Norman Cook’s contribution proving the most notable among them. Christopher Just’s subsequent outings on imprints such as Cheap and Petra never approached comparable impact.
