Biography
Formed in Barbados during 2010, the pop quartet Cover Drive consists of drummer Thomas-Ray "T-Ray" Armstrong, bassist Jamar Harding, guitarist and keyboardist Barry "Bar-Man" Hill, plus vocalist Amanda Reifer. The group inked a deal with Global Talent, a Polydor U.K. imprint, soon after its inception. Their debut release "Lick Ya Down" arrived in 2011 under the production of J.R. Rotem, whose credits include Rihanna's "SOS," Sean Kingston's "Beautiful Girls," and Jason Derulo's "Whatcha Say," and it climbed into the upper reaches of the British singles ranking. Early the following year saw the arrival of "Twilight," crafted by Quiz & Larossi, which ascended to the summit of the U.K. chart. Both tracks, penned in part by Cover Drive themselves, preceded the full-length Bajan Style that surfaced in 2012.
