Biography
Da'dra Crawford Greathouse has long stood as a seasoned figure in gospel and CCM circles. She first attracted attention in the opening years of the 1990s by partnering with her brother Steve Crawford to lead the ensemble Anointed. The siblings emerged from Columbus, Ohio during their teenage years, and the group's rich vocals paired with an uplifting sound shaped by R&B quickly drove mainstream visibility, several Grammy nominations, and repeated Dove Awards. Anointed sustained its recording activity through 2005 on Word and Sony Records. In 2006 Da'dra and Steve moved from Nashville to Houston, Texas to serve on the worship staff at Lakewood Church. Over the ensuing decade the pair immersed themselves in the congregation and its music, guiding worship alongside Israel Houghton and Cindy Cruse-Ratcliff. Anointed revived its studio work in 2012 by issuing a pair of singles. Although Da'dra's singing and songwriting had already drawn recognition within the group, she stepped forward as a solo artist with the 2017 release All of Me.
