David Wright

Born in 1953, British musician David Wright creates within the electronic and new age genres. Across numerous solo releases as well as projects with the groups Callisto and Code: Indigo, his work reflects the broad influences he encountered while spending his early years in the Far East. After launching his own imprint, AD Music, in 1989, Wright has focused chiefly on electronic productions, weaving rock, jazz, classical, and worldbeat elements into his atmospheric, image-evoking pieces to produce an instrumental collection of shifting moods and tones that critics have likened to the approaches of Kitaro, Mike Oldfield, and Vangelis.
