Dj Kun

Born in Argentina and raised across Mexico and Spain, DJ Kun entered Madrid’s club scene by aligning with the RSP collective (Rebeldes Sin Pausa), whose leaders were Pedro del Moral and Marcos Calvo. The group made its first appearance on the compilation Ducados Music II via the track “Ponle Sabor.” Partnering with producer Alejo Stivel, DJ Kun completed and issued his debut solo album, Latin Kilombo, on DRO East West in 1998; the set included Golpes Bajos’ “Malos Tiempos.” Two years later he followed with Crazy Atorrante, which reworked Tam Tam Go!’s “Espaldas Mojadas” alongside Tito Puente’s classic “Oye Como Va.”
