Biography
DJ Swisha holds membership in the Juke Bounce Werk collective and maintains a recording deal with Fool's Gold Records while shifting across footwork, ghetto house, jungle, and juke during his high-velocity performances. He channels that same high-energy flexibility into an extensive schedule of live shows and has issued numerous solo pieces along with ongoing joint releases, among them the 2024 EP Expert Level created with AceMo.
Born in Philadelphia, DJ Swisha spent his childhood in Los Angeles before moving to New York. His first tracks appeared online in 2015, and late 2020 brought a signing with Fool's Gold that produced the EP Nothing But Net. He continued to emphasize collaboration while maintaining a steady flow of new material, joining Kush Jones on the 2023 project Respectfully and reuniting with AceMo for Expert Level in 2024.
