Ensi

Jari Ivan Vella, known professionally as Ensi, emerged from Turin, Italy as a rapper recognized for his contributions to the OneMic collective, his command of freestyle techniques, and a series of hard-hitting independent projects. Once the trio issued its follow-up full-length, he stepped forward with the solo effort Vendetta in 2008 and then the EPs Donercore in 2009 and Equilibrio in 2010. After One Mic delivered its next album, Ensi returned with Era Tutto un Sogno in 2013—the same year he joined Warner Music Italy and lent his voice to a remix of Major Lazer's "Bubble Butt." Those major-label efforts began with Change in 2014 and continued with V in 2017. He has maintained a steady presence on other artists' recordings, joining Jake La Furia, Club Dogo, Louis Dee, and his OneMic colleague Raige on various tracks.
