Biography
A native of Tyresö, Sweden, Erik Linder first saw the light of day on February 22, 1982, before establishing himself as a pop vocalist from the country. Breakthrough exposure arrived through his participation in the third season of the talent series Talang, where strong showings carried him all the way to the finals in June 2009. That visibility prompted Sony Music to extend a recording contract, resulting in the 2009 commercial release of the singles “Tro” and “Ingen Kan Älska Som Vi,” both of which had already been introduced on the program. His first full-length project, Inifrån, followed soon afterward and registered a Top Five placement on the Swedish albums chart. Hitmaker Figge Boström produced the album, which features material from songwriters including Marie Fredriksson, Krister Linder, Lars Winnerbäck, Di Leva, Eva Dahlgren, and Ted Gärdestad.
