Biography
Originating in Cape Town, South Africa, Fetish came together in 1996. Their take on alternative rock, marked by gothic undertones, revolved chiefly around the presence of lead singer Michelle Breeze. The band issued a self-titled debut album in 1997 that earned favorable notices. So Many Prophets, the 1999 follow-up, broadened their reach and registered as a minor hit across South Africa.
