Biography
Originating in West Berlin, New Jersey, Fight Amp cultivate a severe and unyielding strain of post-hardcore that recalls the pivotal 1990s acts once aligned with the Amphetamine Reptile imprint, while also incorporating strains of noise-rock, sludge, punk rock, and metal. Entirely devoted to hardcore principles, the quartet of Mike, Jon, Rebecca, and Hissem dispense with surnames altogether and issued multiple independent singles plus short-form releases before unveiling their first full-length effort on Translation Loss Records, the 2007 album Hungry for Nothing.
