Biography
Nik Hodges, having disbanded his industrial-rock outfit Submachine, launched his next high-octane rock venture, Flak. To staff the project he enlisted Steve Clark, the drummer from his prior band, plus guitarist Chris Sutton and bass newcomer Rich Crockford, intending to fuse textures echoing Nine Inch Nails, Crystal Method, and Pop Will Eat Itself. Mid-2000 saw Flak issue its self-titled debut through Restless Records.
