Biography
Based in Cologne, Germany, Forever Sweet functioned as a supergroup-style power trio assembled from producers Tobias Thomas, M. Mayer, and Reinhard Voigt. Their joint tracks favored direct tech-house that stayed firmly danceable while steering clear of heavy experimentation. Signs of their kinship with house’s originators, stretching even toward dance pop, surfaced in titles such as “True Blue,” “Don't Speak,” and the ABBA-referencing “Super Trouper.” Beyond a run of 12" singles issued on Ladomat 2000 in the late ’90s, the project delivered the CD compilation Geben and Nehmen in 1998. The members additionally supplied remix work for Andreas Dorau.
