A pop singer distinguished by her luminous, nimble delivery and assured presence, Frawley first captured widespread online attention through a string of covers posted during her mid-teens. Her first original release under Island Records arrived in 2019 with “Hard Boy,” soon followed by further singles such as 2021’s “No One Can Fix Me” and 2022’s “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry.”

Born in New Jersey, Lauren Frawley recognized her desire to perform as early as kindergarten. At fourteen, her 2015 upload of Alessia Cara’s “Here” drew the notice of labels, management, and millions of listeners, propelling the clip to viral status. Additional renditions soon showcased material associated with Adele and Demi Lovato. While still in high school, she devoted after-school hours to piano practice, guitar study, and original songwriting.

Upon graduation and her signing with Island Records, Frawley issued the mid-2019 single “Hard Boy.” Later that year she released further tracks, among them the Beck-referencing “Losers,” “Easy,” and an official version of the Cranberries’ “Zombie.” Between 2020 and 2021 she continued with “Knocking on My Heart,” “Austin’s Song,” and “No One Can Fix Me,” the last becoming her most successful release to that point. During the same period she accumulated songwriting credits alongside Hunter Hayes, Dixie D’Amelio, Tate McRae, and Icona Pop while also collaborating with John Legend. She opened 2022 with the energetic “Kiss and Tell” and the reflective “If I Don’t Laugh, I’ll Cry.”
