Biography
George Tandy, Jr., an R&B performer whose parents Candi Tandy and George Tandy, Sr. both pursued music, completed his secondary education in Virginia. During that period he acquired proficiency on multiple instruments and cultivated his abilities. Prompted by support from his mother, he relocated to Florida, where his energies centered on vocals, composition, and keyboard work while he also performed as a hip-hop dancer. Independent label RedStar signed the artist and issued his first single, the understated and mature ballad "March," in September 2013. Evoking early John Legend and introspective Robin Thicke more than most current R&B recordings by performers of his generation, the track advanced rapidly onto Billboard's Adult R&B chart.
