Biography
Good Tiger fuses tech-metal, prog, and hardcore into a ferocious sound, drawing on the expertise of a lineup that includes Elliot Coleman, formerly the vocalist for Tesseract, guitarists Derya Nagle and Joaquin Ardiles, both previously of the Safety Fire, drummer Alex Rüdinger, once with the Faceless, and bassist Morgan Sinclair, formerly of Architects. The group formed in 2015 and chose to bypass traditional labels by raising funds independently for their first full-length effort. With nearly $50,000 secured through crowdfunding, Good Tiger launched their debut album, Head Full of Moonlight, directly on Bandcamp. Not long after, the band signed to Blacklight Media, a Metal Blade subsidiary, which gave the record an official release in April 2016. Their follow-up full-length, We Will All Be Gone, emerged in 2018.
