Skyharbor

Emerging from a bedroom studio endeavor by guitarist Keshav Dhar, Skyharbor took shape in 2010 when he and TesseracT vocalist Daniel Tompkins elected to join forces. The hard-hitting progressive metal outfit, which maintains roots across the United States and India, swiftly established itself as a rising force in international metal circles. Its inaugural live appearance came in 2011 at the multi-city Indian festival NH7 Weekender. A contract with Basick Records followed in 2012, yielding the debut double-disc album Blinding White Noise: Illusion & Chaos. That release assigned separate sides to vocalists Tompkins and Sunneith Revankar of Bhayanak Maut while incorporating a guest contribution from ex-Megadeth guitarist Marty Friedman. After extensive touring through 2012 and 2013, the group returned to the studio for its second album, Guiding Lights, which appeared in 2014.
