NOVELISTS

Emerging from Paris, France, the five-piece Novelists fuse the crushing force of metalcore and djent with jazz-inflected passages and progressive rock structures, evoking Periphery, Alcest, and Architects. The lineup coalesced around singer Matt Gelsomino, drummer Amael Durand, bassist Nicolas Delestrade, and guitarists Florestan Durand and Charly Kelevra, who delivered their first full-length album, Souvenirs, through Arising Empire/Nuclear Blast in 2015. Their follow-up long-player, Noir, arrived two years later.
