Biography
Cane Hill emerged from New Orleans as a ferocious metalcore outfit whose sound fuses post-hardcore aggression with nu-metal heft, pulling inspiration from sources as varied as Pantera, Slipknot, hip-hop, and indie rock.
Vocalist Elijah Witt, guitarist James Barnett, bassist Ryan Henriquez, and drummer Devin Clark formed the group in 2011, honing their craft through extensive touring alongside acts such as Hollywood Undead, the Acacia Strain, blessthefall, and For the Fallen Dreams before signing with Rise Records. That partnership yielded the band's self-titled debut EP in 2015, followed the next year by their first full-length album, Smile, also on Rise, and then the 2018 sophomore release Too Far Gone.
