Hanna

From Cleveland, OH, Warren Harris—widely recognized under the name Hanna—has built a career as a highly productive multi-instrumentalist and producer, issuing a steady flow of polished singles and albums across a wide range of labels. Before reaching driving age he had already mastered guitar, bass, and flute, and had composed his first original piece. From 1999 to 2002 he issued four albums under the Hanna name—Severance, Scarlet Manifesto, Amen, and Contemplating Jazz—each alternating between drum ‘n' bass and house. No matter the genre, his deep commitment to jazz remains evident throughout his work. He has also produced a substantial catalog of 12" releases and has worked alongside fellow Ohioan Dan Curtin in the duo Key of Soul.
