Hiccup

Hiccup, a New York indie rock outfit, delivers harmonic punk-pop in a style beholden to the Ramones and first came together through The Chris Gethard Show, the variety program that began on cable access before moving to network television. Hallie Bulleit of the Unlovables and Alex Clute connected while serving in the LLC, the show's house band that also featured Mikey Erg among its players. The pair discovered strong musical chemistry and opted to develop and document the hooky, fleeting thirty-second vignettes they had been writing for the program. Recruiting drummer Piyal Basu, the co-vocalists and songwriters then recorded with producer Kyle Gilbride, known for work with Waxahatchee and Upset. Their first full-length album, Imaginary Enemies, came out on Father/Daughter Records in March 2017.
