Hodgy

Gerard Long, who performs under the names Hodgy Beats and Hodgy, helped form the unconventional hip-hop group Odd Future from its inception. His contributions as a rapper and beatmaker extend to the collective's inaugural recording, The Odd Future Tape, released in 2008 and containing nine songs where he provided vocals. In 2009, Long spearheaded the initial solo effort from an Odd Future member, issuing The Dena Tape. Later projects tied to the crew include appearances on Tyler, the Creator's Goblin, notably the track "Sandwitches," alongside his work in the offshoot groups MellowHype alongside Left Brain and MellowHigh with Domo Genesis. He has simultaneously built his individual catalog through additional extended plays and mixtapes. His first full-length solo record arrived in 2016 under the title Fireplace: TheNotTheOtherSide, featuring contributions from Busta Rhymes, Lil Wayne, and Salomon Faye.
