Biography
Brady Seals, a veteran singer and songwriter, launched Hot Apple Pie in 2002. The ensemble delivers a notably eclectic blend of country, pop, and R&B that rests on a proven foundation of achievement. Seals has been on the road since turning 16 and counts among his relatives several major music-industry figures, among them Jimmy Seals of Seals & Crofts, songwriters Troy Seals and Chuck Seals, and country performer Dan Seals. He spent 1991 through 1995 touring and recording with Little Texas, which earned a Grammy nomination for the song “Amy’s Back in Austin.” After an extensive but unsatisfying solo period, Seals assembled the group with his longtime associates, guitarist Sparky Matejka and drummer Trey Landry. Dreamworks issued the band’s self-titled debut album in summer 2005.
