INIKO crafts sleek, introspective tracks that weave together alt-pop textures, fluid R&B grooves, and introspective rap passages. A measured ascent through independent singles that began surfacing in the final years of the 2010s culminated in 2023 when the anthemic “Jericho” reached the upper half of Billboard’s Hot Digital Songs chart.
A native New Yorker, INIKO nurtured an early passion for music, taking up both piano and guitar as a child. Time spent overseas, notably a year-long stay in Japan, preceded a move to Los Angeles, where songwriting efforts commenced toward the close of the decade.
