Biography
Iris Kroes, a vocalist from the Netherlands, first gained attention through her participation in season two of The Voice of Holland. Her birthplace is Drachten, where she entered the world in 1991, and during her formative years she pursued harp studies alongside performances with rock ensembles and big bands prior to her tryout on the program. Tracks cut for the broadcast, among them interpretations of "Foolish Games" and "Listen to Your Heart," made appearances on the Top 100 singles charts. Kroes ultimately emerged victorious from The Voice of Holland, which paved the way for the 2011 issuance of her initial solo record, First.
