Biography
British singer/songwriter Jasmine Cruickshank channels the transfeminine experience through her Jasmine.4.T project, blending delicate folk textures with explosive guitar surges to create raw, emotionally exposed songs. Her debut full-length, You Are the Morning, arrived in January 2025 via Phoebe Bridgers’ Saddest Factory Records imprint and received production from the boygenius trio of Bridgers, Lucy Dacus, and Julien Baker.
Manchester-based Cruickshank first honed her craft in skatepunk groups before pivoting toward intricate, nuanced composition once she launched the Jasmine.4.T solo endeavor. In 2019 she issued the Worn Through EP through Breakfast Records, the Bristol label she co-founded with friends. Following a stretch of dates supporting Lucy Dacus, she forwarded demos to Saddest Factory and became its inaugural U.K. signing. Cruickshank assembled an all-trans-women backing band for frequent live appearances and for recording the tracks that formed You Are the Morning, which boygenius ultimately produced.
