Biography
A legend of Tejano music, Jimmy Edward first appeared on stage at a very young age in San Antonio, TX, singing with an assortment of traditional Mexican music ensembles. Professional work arrived when he signed on with Sunny & the Sunliners, after which he soon linked up with Rudy Guerra in the successful group Latin Breed. His interest in Latin contemporary Christian music prompted the April 1996 release of the Latin gospel album Cristianos (Christians). Over the ensuing years Edward issued two further full-length projects, Tejano All Stars and My Special Album.
