Biography
British singer/songwriter Josh Osho crafts melodic pop laced with dance, rap, and R&B elements. Born in South London in 1992, he spent his early years inside a hard-working multicultural home headed by a Nigeran-Irish mother who held jobs at different points as a social worker and a Kenyan father whose work included stints as both a boxer and a ska musician. Though widely regarded as a strong student and keen football player who joined his mother at church services on a regular basis, Osho endured a difficult upbringing that left him homeless and selling drugs by the time he turned 16. Drawing on an early and deep passion for music, he redirected his path and set out on a singing career. After signing a recording contract with Island Records in 2011, he issued multiple singles such as “Redemption Days,” which featured rapper Ghostface Killah, and “Giants,” which featured rapper Childish Gambino. The following year he delivered his first full-length album, L.I.F.E., carrying executive production credits from the Wu-Tang Clan.
