Biography
Frankfurt saw the arrival of Klaus Badelt in 1968, a German film-score composer and producer whose initial assignments involved scoring movies and advertisements throughout his native land. His visibility expanded rapidly, however, placing him among the contributors to several of Hollywood’s most expensive action spectacles during the first years of the twenty-first century. Recognition arrived in force with the music he supplied for Dreamworks’ 2002 release The Time Machine. Thereafter he continued to score further high-budget productions, sometimes working alone and sometimes in tandem with others, on projects that included The Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl, Constantine, and Ultraviolet.
