Biography
Standup comedian Kurt Braunohler, who fronts the IFC cable network’s “anti-game show” Bunk and the Nerdist network’s podcast The K Ohle, issued his first comedy album on the typically indie-rock-focused imprint Kill Rock Stars. A native of Neptune, New Jersey, he co-created Brooklyn’s alternative comedy/variety showcase Hot Tub in 2005 alongside frequent collaborator and fellow comedian Kristen Schaal. Braunohler made on-screen appearances in the television series Delocated and The Heart, She Holler during 2010, then joined the NPR radio series This American Life in 2012. That same year he assumed hosting duties for IFC’s Bunk, and in 2013 he aligned with Bikini Kill and Deerhoof on the Kill Rock Stars roster while unveiling his label debut, How Do I Land?
