Hailing from Hamburg, Germany, Leslie Clio crafts vocals that channel the retro-tinged soul stylings of Amy Winehouse. Her music merges modern pop with an old-school aesthetic, bringing her initial attention in 2012 through the single "I Told You So." Three further singles followed before she delivered her full-length debut, Gladys, in 2013.
