Frances

Known professionally as Frances, Sophie Frances Cooke is a singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist whose soulful folk-pop material calls to mind Seinabo Sey, Tom Odell, London Grammar, and Gabrielle Aplin. She passed her early years in Newbury, Berkshire, then enrolled in music studies at the Liverpool Institute for the Performing Arts. Communion Records issued her opening EP, Grow, in July 2015, and the follow-up, Let It Out, arrived that October. Two months afterward she appeared on the shortlist for the 2016 Brit Awards and received a nomination for the BBC Sound of 2016. At the start of 2017 Frances unveiled her first album, Things I've Never Said.
